Library Cards

All patrons must be registered and have a valid library card to borrow library materials.  Identification is required to register for an account.  A driver's license or student ID is preferred; however, any other official ID or recent non-personal piece of mail may be acceptable.

A library card not only affords you access to our entire catalog, the Stanwood Public Library has a partnership with Bridges Overdrive that allows you access to enjoy free ebooks and audiobooks on your computer, phone, and tablet.

 

Loan Periods:

• Three weeks for books and audio materials.  Materials may be renewed twice if there is no waiting list for the title.
• Reference materials do not circulate and must be used in library.
• Interlibrary loans are due on the date indicated by the lending library.

• One week for dvd's and blu ray.  Movies will be limited to five checkouts at a time per household.  Only two of these may be new acquisitions.
